The Board of Directors of the Hilo Branch is excited to announce the formation of our own Hilo Branch 501 (c) (3)  Scholarship Fund.  Your tax-deductible donation to this fund gives East Hawaii women an opportunity to discover the joy of learning and the life-changing opportunities that higher education allows.

Our scholarship awards vary each year. In 2022 we awarded $6,000, in 2021 we awarded $4,000, in 2020 we awarded $7,000, and in May 2019  we awarded $8,000 in scholarships to University of Hawai’i- Hilo students, as well as students at Hawai’i Community College in Hilo.  By donating today to the tax-deductible AAUW HILO Scholarship 501 (c) (3)  Fund*, you can make sure these scholarships will continue to be awarded to deserving women in East Hawaii.  Supporting our scholarship fund is one of the best ways you can ensure that our mission and vision will thrive for years to come.
